How to clean your Euky Bear Steam Vaporiser

Congratulations – you’ve got a Euky Bear Vaporiser! Now it’s important to learn how to clean your Vaporiser to get the most out of its performance and longevity.

Cleaning your Euky Bear Vaporiser is very important. While some particles in your vaporiser after use are normal (see below), over time mineral deposits and inhalant residue can impact your Vaporiser’s steam output.

A build-up of residue could also contribute to an unusual odour. Cleaning your vaporiser regularly can help minimise this.

How to clean your vaporiser

Note: before cleaning, always switch off and disconnect the plug at the power point, wait for the unit to cool and empty any unused water.

  • After EACH use

Rinse water container and base of the heating unit. Do not submerge heating unit or power cord in water. Dry with a clean cloth.

  • Maintenance Cleaning (After every 10 uses)

Rinse as per directions above. Sit the base of the heating unit in a pot or jug of white vinegar (up to the rim but not covering the power cord – do not submerge unit) for 20 minutes. Clean the opening of the steam vent gently with a cotton bud dipped in white vinegar.

Afterwards, wash base in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth. Hard water areas may need more frequent cleaning.

Why are there particles in my vaporiser after use?

It's very normal to see residue in the bottom of your vaporiser after use. This is usually mineral deposits from your tap water or residue of inhalant. It can look like dirt, sand or flakes. It is harmless, and can just be washed away after use.
Here are some examples of normal deposits.

If you see anything like this, it’s generally normal and expected – simply follow the cleaning instructions above.

The level of particles present can also depend on where you live. In hard water areas you may notice it more. If you live in a hard water area, your Vaporiser may need more frequent ongoing maintenance cleaning.

For ongoing use, consider using distilled water instead of tap water to
eliminate the issue.
